To all you Tan-a-holics out there...
So I am currently using the Pur Minerals Give a Little Self Tanning Lotion and I must say that I love the colour it gives. I find it really easy to apply, it doesn't have a foul odour as most self-tanners do and I find that if applied properly it is streak free!
Before applying any self-tanner consider the following application steps:
1. Using a loofah or exfoliating gloves make sure to exfoliate the areas in which you want to apply your self-tanner as this will prevent streaking by removing all of the dead skin cells prior to application.
2. Make sure that when you apply your self-tanner that you apply in even strokes with closed fingers to prevent streaking and provide an even application. Make sure that you cover each area entirely.
3. Give the self-tanner some time to dry before putting any clothes back on as it needs time to set and dry to prevent streaking. Usuall you have to wait a minimum of 4 hours to start seeing colour so I usually apply my self-tanner just before going to bed.
There you have it! Those are some tips and tricks to remember when applying a self tanner. The Pur Minerals Give a Little self-tanning lotion is available at Shopper's Drug Mart where Pur Minerals is sold and goes for about $24.00. It's well worth the splurge, but hurry and get yours fast as they are only a seasonal product :( , so I made sure to stock up.

Dior Show Mascara versus. Maybelline Volume Express
My friend Carol had a project to do for her Make-up course and had asked me to test two different mascaras to see which performed better. Dior Show Mascara being $31 in price and Maybelline Volume Express being around $10-$12. After the "experiment" :) we realized that Dior Show Mascara was a much more build able mascara and would not clump after several applications, whereas the Volume Express from Maybelline started to dry really fast and would clump after several applications. Carol also noted that Maybelline's Volume Express was much harder to remove then Dior Show. Overall we noticed that Dior Show Mascara still rocks! This mascara is definitely worth the extra $$$$ if your looking for full long sexy lashes!
